Care And Life Management Study
Support Intervention
The main aim of the intervention is to provide effective support to carers who look after someone who is diagnosed with schizophrenia. It takes a carer focused rather than a patient focused approach. It involves identifying carers' strengths, developing a plan to facilitate the carer moving on in their life at whatever level that is.

The support intervention is offered over a 12-week period. Weekly meetings are recommended Some carers may need fewer sessions.
